St Andrews and the Kingdom of Fife 1 Day Private Tour

Private Tour of Fife From Edinburgh

If time is short when visiting Scotland but you would like to visit more than just Edinburgh, then why not take this fantastic private St Andrews and the Kingdom of Fife Tour? Fife is located just across the Forth from Edinburgh. You don't have to travel far in Scotland to see some of the countryside and some beautiful old villages.

1 Day Tour

Itinerary

This tour takes us to the village of South Queensferry for a close-up view of the impressive Forth Bridges. We then cross the Forth Road Bridge to Fife and make our way to Falkland Palace.

Built between 1501 and 1541, Falkland Palace is an architectural masterpiece and home to the oldest indoor royal tennis court in Britain. The village of Falkland has also featured in the hit TV series Outlander.

It’s just a short hop from Falkland to St Andrews – the home of golf, where you can watch players tee off on the first hole at the famous Old Course.

There’s much more to see in St Andrew’s including the British Golf Museum, the 12th-century cathedral and castle, historic buildings of Scotland’s oldest university and even two sandy beaches.

From St Andrews, we make our return to Edinburgh via the picturesque fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife where you can treat yourself to an award-winning fish supper at Anstruther.
